We are very, very busy at the moment:
We do our best to return calls on the day, but this is not always possible, as we are combining face-to-face and telephone consultations, and demands are enormous.
We will ALWAYS see emergencies.
We are not prebooking appointments at the moment in an effort to manage the workload as best we can.
We appreciate that this is very difficult – please advise reception if your call is urgent, and we will call back as soon as possible.
COVID19:
COVID19 infection is still circulating.
Essentially, if you have symptoms of a cough / cold / flu / sinusitis / chest infection, you need to ISOLATE, and NOT go to work / school, even if you have a negative antigen test result.
If you need information about COVID19 isolation, please follow this link: https://www2.hse.ie/conditions/covid19/restricted-movements/
You need to remain isolating until you are symptom-free for two days, regardless of the result of your antigen test.
You can register your positive test on the HSE website: you do not need to speak to a doctor.
Prescriptions
Please give 48 hours notice for repeat prescription requests: they cannot take priority over clinical issues.
AND FINALLY!!
Please, if you can, be a patient patient, and please be kind to our very hard-working reception staff! They do a great job in really stressful circumstances.
Thanks in advance for your understanding,
Dr Lewis
