We are exceptionally busy at the moment, as some of our dedicated staff are taking a well-earned break after a very difficult 18 months. With temporarily reduced staffing, we are deferring some routine appointment requests for a week or two: we are of course dealing with urgent and emergency issues, so please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Prescriptions should be requested in writing either via the website or at reception to reduce errors and queries: please note the name, dose, and formulation (tablet / liquid etc) of the medication, and the name of your pharmacy, as we will email your prescription directly to them. Turnaround time is 24 to 48 hours. Prescription charges can be paid on line, by phone, or via the link which will be sent via text message to your mobile phone.
Paperwork such as forms, letters etc may be delayed: please bear with us. Urgent items will be prioritised.
Phones are very busy at the moment – we have installed a new phone system to help direct calls, but COVID19 public health guidelines limit the office capacity, and essential triage of calls continues. Be assured that we are working very hard to answer calls as quickly and efficiently as possible, and to increase capacity as quickly as possible.
