We have been extremely busy over the last month, running booster clinics as well as dealing with enormous numbers of COVID19 cases in the time locally. Thankfully the number of patients testing positive is reducing, and we are grateful to patients for continuing to wear their masks and isolate when symptomatic of COVID19.
We are of course also dealing with non-COVID work as always: please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have health concerns. We will still call you so that we can decide if examination or investigation if needed, or if the issue can be dealt with by telephone consultation. Please continue to bear with us as the telephones are very busy. In case of urgent / emergency issues, please advise reception staff when you call.
If you are approaching three months from the diagnosis of COVID19 infection you will be due a booster vaccination shortly. Please contact reception so that we can arrange an appointment for you. If you have not been vaccinated at all, but have had COVID19, you can get your first dose of vaccination one month after infection.
COVID19 is still here, so please protect your community by isolating and testing if symptomatic, and wearing a surgical or FFP2 mask when out and about. Fabric masks appear to provide less protection against the Omicron variant.
Please contact us with medical concerns, and we will do our very best to help in any way we can.
